Job summary

Austin Industrial, Inc. seeks an experienced Carpenter/Fireproofing with fireproofing experience to operate on site in Pasadena, Texas. NCCER Carpenter certification, TWIC Card and a valid Driver's License are required.

The maintenance role consists of 4 ten-hour shifts with occasional overtime and no per diem. You will construct, erect, install, and repair structures using wood and related materials, read blueprints, and apply fireproofing systems.

Qualifications

• NCCER Carpenter certification required.
• TWIC Card required.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• 4 years journeyman-level experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Study blueprints, sketches or building plans to determine layouts and materials.
• Erect and install forms for concrete; shape materials to specified measurements.
• Follow safety rules and maintain a safe, clean work area.
• Operate tools and equipment including forklifts and hand tools.
• Install fireproofing systems and related protective structures.
• Perform general cleanup and support other trades as needed.
