Job summary

Oklahoma City University is seeking a skilled Carpenter/Maintenance Tech III in the Facilities Department to perform carpentry, remodels, repairs, and maintenance on campus buildings and equipment under the supervision of the Assistant Director of Facilities.

The role requires 3–5 years of carpentry experience, strong knowledge of building materials and blueprints, and safe operation of carpentry tools. You must be able to work on ladders and in confined spaces, following safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of skilled carpentry experience or equivalent.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and prepare rough sketches.

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled carpentry work on campus buildings and equipment.
• Remodel and repair cabinets, doors, walls, and fixtures.
• Install window glass, tile, and wall/floor coverings.
• Follow safety regulations and participate in trainings.
• Support facilities projects and deferred maintenance.
