Job summary

Archer Western Construction is currently seeking a Common Laborer for the Water Mountain West/Apache Junction Sewer District WRF Expansion in Apache Junction, Arizona. The role involves performing physical labor on construction sites, with the possibility of operating hand and/or power tools as needed and assisting with site preparation and other assigned duties.

You will work with crews on commercial, industrial, or heavy civil projects, comply with safety policies, and participate in site

Qualifications

• 1 year verifiable construction experience preferred
• Ability to climb and maintain balance on scaffold/ladder
• Lift up to 50 lbs; may work in adverse weather
• Comply with all safety policies and procedures; communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Stand, bend, kneel or sit for long periods; good manual dexterity; pass pre-employment drug screening

Responsibilities

• Perform physical labor on construction sites as directed by supervisor
• Operate hand and/or power tools as needed (drills, hammers, etc.)
• Clean and prepare sites, erect scaffolding, dispose of debris, and dig trenches
• Load and unload construction materials manually or with equipment
