The Position:

We are seeking a Carpenter responsible for assembling and removing forms used for concrete structures during bridge/dam construction, including footings, abutments, walls, pier stems/columns, pier caps, bridge decking, and parapets. Additional duties may be assigned by the Foreman or management.

Location:

Projects vary by location; reliable transportation and willingness to travel are required. Work may be in Milwaukee, Madison, Fort Atkinson, and other areas.

Candidate Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Punctual and dependable
• Able to work varied hours, including nights, early mornings, and weekends
• Capable of working in variable weather conditions and dusty environments
• Member of a Local Carpenters Union or willing to join (union membership not required prior to employment)
• Previous bridge or construction experience and/or bridge decking experience is preferred
• Proficient in building form footings, walls, wings, and tying in corners using concrete forming systems
