The Position:

Responsible for assembling and removing forms used for concrete structures during bridge and dam construction, including footings, abutments, walls, pier stems/columns, pier caps, bridge decking, and parapets. Additional duties may be assigned by the Foreman or management.

The Candidate:

• Valid driver's license and good driving record.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Punctual, dependable, and able to work varied hours including nights, mornings, and weekends.
• Capable of working in different weather conditions and dusty environments.
• Membership or willingness to join a Local Carpenters Union.
• Experience in bridge construction and forming systems such as EFCO.
• Proficiency in building form footings, walls, wings, and tying corners.
• Ability to form diaphragms, cheek walls, shear blocks, bulkheads, and overhang falsework.
• Experience forming parapets.
