Job summary

PDHGROUP in Irving, TX is seeking a Carpenter 1 to join our field team. You will read architectural floor plans and install doors and mechanical hardware while progressing on multiple projects.

The role requires physical work, ability to lift up to 80 lbs, and the flexibility to move between sites. You will contribute to on-time project completion and uphold quality workmanship.

• Install doors and mechanical hardware (exit devices, closers, mortise locks, mullions, etc.).
• Transfer between multiple projects on an as-needed basis.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, co-workers and customers.
• Support other duties and responsibilities as needed.

JOB ROLE SUMMARY

DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Ability to read architectural floor plans
• Cursory knowledge of the construction industry and processes
• Must be proficient in installation of all doors and mechanical hardware. (Exit devices, closers, mortise locks, mullions, etc.)
• Flexibility to transfer between multiple projects on an as needed basis
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, co-workers and customers
• Other duties and job responsibilities as needed
