Job summary

PDHGroup in Manhattan, KS is seeking a Carpenter 1 to read architectural plans and install doors and associated hardware on multiple projects. This role requires standing for extended periods, lifting up to 80 lbs, and working in varying weather.

• Cursory knowledge of construction industry and processes.
• Must be proficient in installation of doors and mechanical hardware (exit devices, closers, mortise locks, mullions).
• Flexibility to transfer between multiple projects on an as needed basis.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, co-workers and customers.

JOB ROLE SUMMARY:

DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Ability to read architectural floor plans
• Cursory knowledge of the construction industry and processes
• Must be proficient in installation of all doors and mechanical hardware. (Exit devices, closers, mortise locks, mullions, etc.)
• Flexibility to transfer between multiple projects on an as needed basis
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, co-workers and customers
• Other duties and job responsibilities as needed
• Minimum Tool Requirements:
