The Carpenter is expected to provide carpentry and cabinet shop skills to maintain or construct company facilities, furniture and fixtures; construct forms and finish concrete for small projects; and other duties as assigned.

Job Specifications:

• Expected Pay Range: $20.74 - $25.40/ hour
• Shift & Schedule Availability: Full Time
• Skill Level: Entry

Job Responsibilities:

• Assists with carpentry repair and maintenance for all departments. Items include benches, furniture, windows and doors, signs and installation, cabinets, playground structures, and building components.
• Assists with new project construction. Projects may include: building additions or remodels, playground construction/maintenance, and new signage.
• Prepares, paints, stains, and/or oils all types of surfaces and structures.
• Cleans and takes inventory of the carpenter shop and other areas as required.
• Performs other building maintenance tasks such as snow removal and trash collection.
• Responds to guest's questions, concerns, and complaints in a timely and courteous manner.
• Performs other duties as directed.

Job Requirements:

• Previous carpentry experience - required.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1 or 2 years of carpenter or maintenance work experience.
• Valid driver's license.
• Working knowledge of construction procedures, tools, materials, and requirements.
• General painting experience.
• Ability to do minor building maintenance.
• Able to work independently and problem-solve.
• Ability to read, understand, and work from blueprints.
• Basic computer skills.

This position may be assigned to any functional area around the resort as needed daily and may have exposure to outdoors in all weather conditions and all types of equipment noise, traffic, dust, chemicals, and fumes. Stooping, standing, kneeling, and lifting are required the entire shift.

The expected pay range is $20.74 - $25.40. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
