Job summary

Aerotek is seeking skilled Carpenters for residential and commercial construction projects around Belvidere and Rockford. You will work on framing, finish carpentry, doors, trim, and drywall, with opportunities in new builds, renovations and tenant improvements.

Qualifications

• Previous carpentry experience in residential, commercial, or mixed construction environments.

• Experience with wood framing, metal stud framing, and general carpentry work.
• Ability to read tape measures, construction plans, and project drawings.
• Proficient with common hand tools and power tools.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift construction materials and perform physical work throughout the day.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to job sites as needed.
• Finish carpentry experience, including doors, trim, and interior finishes.
• OSHA 10 Certification.

Overview

We are seeking skilled Carpenters to support a variety of residential and commercial construction projects throughout Belvidere and Rockford areas. This position offers the opportunity to work on new construction, renovations, tenant improvements, and remodeling projects while performing a wide range of carpentry tasks from framing to finish work.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in construction, strong knowledge of carpentry methods, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team to deliver high-quality results.

Job Type & Location

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
