Job summary

Brasfield & Gorrie, LLC is seeking a Carpenter to construct rough wooden structures and concrete forms for commercial construction projects. You will follow sketches, blueprints, or oral instructions while maintaining safety and quality on site.

Ideal candidates have 3 years of experience with vertical/horizontal forms, can work at elevated heights, and lift up to 50 lbs. Outdoor and all-weather work is expected.

Qualifications

• 3 years Commercial Construction Carpenter experience preferred. Experience with vertical and horizontal concrete forms, and gang forms preferred
• Must be able to work at elevated heights, frequently lift materials weighing up to 50lbs and work in outside all weather conditions

• Build rough wooden structures, such as vertical and horizontal concrete forms, gang forms, blocking, Johnny clamp forms, scaffolds, tunnel, bridge, or sewer supports, according to sketches, blueprints, or oral instructions
• Must adhere to safety protocol, and work in a drug-free environment
• May be required to work in outside all weather conditions

Brasfield & Gorrie is currently accepting applications for a Carpenter.Below are the main responsibilities for this position.

• Build rough wooden structures, such as vertical and horizontal concrete forms, gang forms, blocking, Johnny clamp forms, scaffolds, tunnel, bridge, or sewer supports, billboard signs, and temporary frame shelters, according to sketches, blueprints, or oral instructions
• Must adhere to safety protocol, and work in a drug-free environment
• Must be able to provide own tools including, but not limited to, hammer, speed square, tape measure, chalk box, pliers, and tool pouch.
• May be required to work in outside all weather conditions

Education - Skills - Knowledge - Qualifications & Experience
