Job summary

Brasfield & Gorrie, LLC is hiring a Carpenter for Midland, TX. You will build rough wooden structures and concrete forms per sketches or blueprints, with strict adherence to safety on site and the ability to work in all weather.

This is hands-on field work requiring durable, practical carpentry skill. Ideal candidates have 3 years of commercial construction experience, familiarity with vertical and horizontal forms, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and the willingness to supply basic tools.

Qualifications

• 3 years Commercial Construction Carpenter experience preferred. Experience with vertical and horizontal concrete forms, and gang forms preferred
• Must be able to work at elevated heights, frequently lift materials weighing up to 50lbs and work in outside all weather conditions

Responsibilities

• Build rough wooden structures, such as vertical and horizontal concrete forms, gang forms, blocking, Johnny clamp forms, scaffolds, tunnel, bridge, or sewer supports, billboard signs, and temporary frame shelters, according to sketches, blueprints, or oral instructions
• Must adhere to safety protocol, and work in a drug‑free environment
• Must be able to provide own tools including, but not limited to, hammer, speed square, tape measure, chalk box, pliers, and tool pouch.
• May be required to work in outside all weather conditions
