Job summary

Brasfield & Gorrie, LLC is accepting applications for a Carpenter to support commercial construction projects. The role involves building rough wooden structures and concrete forms, following sketches or blueprints, and maintaining a safe, drug-free onsite environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Build rough wooden structures, such as vertical and horizontal concrete forms, gang forms, blocking, Johnny clamp forms, scaffolds, tunnel, bridge, or sewer supports, according to sketches, blueprints, or oral instructions
• Must adhere to safety protocol, and work in a drug-free environment
• Must provide own tools including hammer, speed square, tape measure, chalk box, pliers, and tool pouch
• May be required to work outside in all weather conditions

• Build rough wooden structures, such as vertical and horizontal concrete forms, gang forms, blocking, Johnny clamp forms, scaffolds, tunnel, bridge, or sewer supports, billboard signs, and temporary frame shelters, according to sketches, blueprints, or oral instructions
• Must adhere to safety protocol, and work in a drug-free environment
• Must be able to provide own tools including, but not limited to, hammer, speed square, tape measure, chalk box, pliers, and tool pouch.
• May be required to work in outside all weather conditions

Education - Skills - Knowledge - Qualifications & Experience

• 3 years Commercial Construction Carpenter experience preferred. Experience with vertical and horizontal concrete forms, and gang forms preferred
