Job summary

Brasfield & Gorrie, LLC is seeking a skilled carpenter for commercial construction projects in North Carolina. Build rough wooden structures and formwork according to sketches, blueprints, or oral instructions, while adhering to safety protocols.

Candidates should have at least 3 years of commercial construction carpentry experience, be able to work at heights, lift up to 50 lbs, and provide their own basic tools. Position is on-site and weather permitting.

Qualifications

• 3 years Commercial Construction Carpenter experience preferred.
• Must be able to work at elevated heights and lift up to 50lbs.
• Experience with vertical/horizontal concrete forms and gang forms preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build rough wooden structures, formwork, scaffolds, and temporary shelters according to sketches or blueprints.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a drug-free environment.
• Provide own basic carpentry tools as listed.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions when required.

Brasfield & Gorrie is currently accepting applications for a Carpenter.Below are the main responsibilities for this position.

• Build rough wooden structures, such as vertical and horizontal concrete forms, gang forms, blocking, Johnny clamp forms, scaffolds, tunnel, bridge, or sewer supports, billboard signs, and temporary frame shelters, according to sketches, blueprints, or oral instructions
• Must adhere to safety protocol, and work in a drug-free environment
• Must be able to provide own tools including, but not limited to, hammer, speed square, tape measure, chalk box, pliers, and tool pouch.
• May be required to work in outside all weather conditions

Education - Skills - Knowledge - Qualifications & Experience

• 3 years Commercial Construction Carpenter experience preferred. Experience with vertical and horizontal concrete forms, and gang forms preferred
• Must be able to work at elevated heights, frequently lift materials weighing up to 50lbs and work in outside all weather conditions
