Job summary

Brasfield & Gorrie in Mesa, AZ is seeking a skilled Carpenter to build and install rough wooden structures and concrete forms per sketches and blueprints. You will work on outdoor projects, adhere to safety protocols, and provide your own hand tools.

The role requires the ability to work at elevated heights, lift up to 50 lbs, and operate in all weather conditions. If you have 3 years of commercial construction carpentry experience, you may be a fit. EOE/Vets/Disabilities.

Qualifications

• 3 years of commercial construction carpenter experience preferred.
• Experience with vertical and horizontal concrete forms and gang forms preferred.
• Ability to work at elevated heights and lift up to 50 lbs, outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

Brasfield & Gorrie is currently accepting applications for a Carpenter.

(This description may not include all duties required of this position)

• Build rough wooden structures, such as vertical and horizontal concrete forms, gang forms, blocking, Johnny clamp forms, scaffolds, tunnel, bridge, or sewer supports, billboard signs, and temporary frame shelters, according to sketches, blueprints, or oral instructions
• Must adhere to safety protocol, and work in a drug-free environment
• Must be able to provide own tools including, but not limited to, hammer, speed square, tape measure, chalk box, pliers, and tool pouch.
• May be required to work in outside all weather conditions

Education - Skills - Knowledge - Qualifications & Experience

• 3 years Commercial Construction Carpenter experience preferred. Experience with vertical and horizontal concrete forms, and gang forms preferred
• Must be able to work at elevated heights, frequently lift materials weighing up to 50lbs and work in outside all weather conditions
