Job summary

Brasfield & Gorrie is seeking a Carpenter in Florida to join our field team and perform rough carpentry and formwork per sketches or blueprints.

Ideal candidates have 3 years of commercial carpentry experience, can lift up to 50 lbs, provide their own basic tools, and work outdoors in all weather while adhering to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

Brasfield & Gorrie is currently accepting applications for a Carpenter.

(This description may not include all duties required of this position)

• Build rough wooden structures, such as vertical and horizontal concrete forms, gang forms, blocking, Johnny clamp forms, scaffolds, tunnel, bridge, or sewer supports, billboard signs, and temporary frame shelters, according to sketches, blueprints, or oral instructions
• Must adhere to safety protocol, and work in a drug-free environment
• Must be able to provide own tools including, but not limited to, hammer, speed square, tape measure, chalk box, pliers, and tool pouch.
• May be required to work in outside all weather conditions

Education - Skills - Knowledge - Qualifications & Experience

• 3 years Commercial Construction Carpenter experience preferred. Experience with vertical and horizontal concrete forms, and gang forms preferred
• Must be able to work at elevated heights, frequently lift materials weighing up to 50lbs and work in outside all weather conditions
