American Concrete Products in Dallas, TX is seeking a dedicated Concrete Carpenter to install forms, tie rebar, and assemble formwork based on blueprints. The role emphasizes precise measurement, safe handling of hand and power tools, and collaboration with crew to keep projects on schedule.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years carpentry experience, ability to read blueprints and tape measures, and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Experience tying rebar using pliers.
• Reading a tape measure and blueprint reading is required.

Responsibilities

• Shape or cut materials to precise measurements and assemble wood or other materials to form a frame.
• Set forms, tie and reinforce rebar, place concrete, remove forms.
• Assist with pouring, leveling, and finishing of concrete surfaces.
• Operate tools such as trowels and power screeds.
• Collaborate with team to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of projects.

American Concrete Products is a leading manufacturer of quality concrete products for various industries. We are currently seeking a dedicated and hardworking Concrete Carpenter to join our team. Ideally, Concrete carpenters who can interpret blueprints and use them to precisely measure and assemble rebar and forms as well as assembling forms

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Shape or cut materials to precise measurements and assemble wood or other materials to the necessary size, while building a form in the shape of the structure using hand tools, machines, or a power saw
• Setting forms, tying and reinforcing rebar, placing concrete, removing forms
• Assist with the pouring, leveling, and finishing of concrete surfaces
• Operate various tools and equipment such as trowels and power screeds
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of projects

Requirements

• 2+ years of previous carpentry experience preferred
• Experience tying rebar using pliers
• Must be able to solve mathematical problems to properly measure for the amount of materials needed to construct form. Reading a tape measure and blue print reading is required!
• Must be able to use carpentry tools such as hand saws, electric saws, and drills
• High school diploma or equivalent
