Job summary

American Concrete Products is seeking a dedicated Concrete Carpenter to join our Dallas-area team. The role involves interpreting blueprints, measuring and assembling rebar and forms, and contributing to efficient form construction.

You will operate hand tools, power saws, and other equipment, work with a supportive crew, and help ensure on-time project completion with safe, quality workmanship. Experience reading blueprints and tape measures is required, and previous rebar tying experience is a

Qualifications

  • 2+ years carpentry experience preferred.
  • Reading a tape measure and blueprint reading required.
  • Must be able to use carpentry tools such as hand saws, electric saws, and drills.
  • Must be able to solve mathematical problems to properly measure materials for forming.

Responsibilities

  • Shape or cut materials to precise measurements and assemble wood or other materials to the necessary size, building a form.
  • Setting forms, tying and reinforcing rebar, placing concrete, removing forms.
  • Assist with pouring, leveling, and finishing of concrete surfaces.
  • Operate tools such as trowels and power screeds.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of projects.

American Concrete Products is a leading manufacturer of quality concrete products for various industries. We are currently seeking a dedicated and hardworking Concrete Carpenter to join our team. Ideally, Concrete carpenters who can interpret blueprints and use them to precisely measure and assemble rebar and forms as well as assembling forms

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Shape or cut materials to precise measurements and assemble wood or other materials to the necessary size, while building a form in the shape of the structure using hand tools, machines, or a power saw.
  • Setting forms, tying and reinforcing rebar, placing concrete, removing forms
  • Assist with the pouring, leveling, and finishing of concrete surfaces.
  • Operate various tools and equipment such as trowels and power screeds.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of projects.
  • 2+ years of previous carpentry experience preferred
  • Experience tying rebar using pliers
  • Must be able to solve mathematical problems to properly measure for the amount of materials needed to construct form.Reading a tape measure and blue print reading is required!
  • Must be able to use carpentry tools such as hand saws, electric saws, and drills
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • $20-24 an hour
  • FULLTIME YEAR-ROUND WORK
