Job summary

City of Peoria, Arizona is seeking a skilled Commercial Carpenter for a Contract to Hire role based in Brentwood, NY. You will perform metal stud framing, drywall, doors and millwork on office, retail and healthcare projects, reading blueprints and maintaining site safety.

We offer $30.00–$35.00/hr, health benefits, PTO, and overtime with long-term growth. On-site, fully onsite work with frequent travel to various job sites; OSHA 10/30 preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial carpentry experience.
• Experience with metal stud framing and drywall systems.
• Strong blueprint reading skills.
• Experience installing doors, frames, hardware, and millwork.
• Ability to safely operate hand and power tools.
• Reliable transportation to various job sites.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 preferred.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brentwood, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
