Job summary

White Lodging is seeking a Restaurant Assistant General Manager to support the General Manager in leading daily operations, training staff, and ensuring an exceptional dining experience for every guest.

You will oversee F&B operations, maintain training standards, and help forecast and schedule to maximize guest satisfaction in a fast-paced hotel restaurant environment.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Restaurant General Manager and support associates by directing daily operations and creating an excellent guest experience.
• Oversee and ensure the proper training of all F&B personnel following the White Lodging Way guidelines.
• Monitor communications, morale, and motivation of all F&B personnel.
• Ensure food, liquor, wine, and other beverage costs are in line with budget.
• Oversee Food and Beverage operations during meal periods, including cooking, serving, and room service tasks per brand standards.
• Assist with or issue accurate weekly forecasts to enable effective planning and scheduling for guest satisfaction.
• Perform any other duties as required by the Restaurant General Manager.

What You’ll Do

• Report to the Restaurant General Manager and support associates by directing daily operations and creating an excellent guest experience.


• Oversee and ensure the proper training of all F&B personnel following the White Lodging Way guidelines.

• Oversee Food and Beverage operations during meal periods, ensuring tasks such as cooking, clearing tables, serving, taking orders, delivering room service, and cleaning are performed in accordance with brand standards.


• Assist with or issue accurate weekly forecasts to enable the creation of effective plans and schedules that maximize guest satisfaction.


• Perform any other duties as required by the Restaurant General Manager.
