Job summary

Uptime Industrial is expanding in the Carolinas and seeks an operations leader to drive growth, oversee ongoing projects, and build a high-performing team. Reporting to the CEO, you will own business development, estimating, and financial performance across the Carolinas.

You will initially lead a small local team, develop customer relationships, manage project scopes, and partner with internal resources to deliver safe, quality work while expanding the regional footprint.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading and growing an operation in an industrial setting.
• Hands-on, entrepreneurial mindset with ability to build from the ground up.
• Willingness to travel to British Columbia, Canada for initial training.

Responsibilities

• Lead business development and growth across the Carolinas, building a local pipeline.
• Oversee day-to-day operations and ensure schedules, budgets, quality, and customer expectations.
• Develop and coach the local team, establish performance expectations and feedback.
• Manage estimates, quotes, bids, and proposals for new work and opportunities.
• Monitor project costs, margins, and profitability; improve local processes.
• Collaborate with internal teams to allocate resources for incoming work.
