Stormont Vail Health is seeking a part-time Student Nurse Tech to join the care delivery team under the direction of a Registered Nurse. You will provide delegated, direct patient care and support activities to maintain safe, quality care with a patient-centered approach.

The role emphasizes communication, safety, and ongoing learning, with units focusing on infection prevention and teamwork. Must be enrolled in an accredited nursing program and hold CNA certification.

Competenze

• First-semester nursing student or enrolled in first semester; CNA certification.
• Experience in an office, hospital, or clinic setting.
• Knowledgeable of proper patient care technique.
• Communicates pertinent patient information to staff promptly.
• Awareness of safety issues within the institution.
• Participates in departmental educational activities.
• Competency in selected psychomotor skills.

• Implement planned care through coordination with the interdisciplinary team.
• Collaborate with the care team to achieve expected outcomes.
• Communicate pertinent data relative to the patient in a timely manner.
• Promote infection prevention with standard precautions and proper hand hygiene.
