Job summary

LifeWise Academy seeks a part-time vehicle driver to transport public school students safely to and from the LifeWise site. The role requires punctuality, a clean driving record, and a mature Christian faith aligned with our beliefs.

Responsibilities include maintaining vehicle safety, supervising students, and following school traffic laws. Employment includes possible classroom volunteering and adherence to program policies.

Qualifications

• Mature personal Christian faith aligned with LifeWise beliefs.
• Active participation in a local church with compatible doctrine.
• Regular driver's license held for at least three years; clean record.
• Background check and annual physician's statement as required.
• Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug tests.
• 105- minute bus safety awareness and student supervision ability.

Responsibilities

• Transport children and LifeWise volunteers to and from the LifeWise site.
• Obey traffic laws and maintain bus cleanliness and safety.
• Perform regular vehicle inspections and refueling as needed.
• Create and maintain a safe environment for students; enforce rules.
• Assist students entering or exiting; demonstrate calm, caring demeanor.
• Volunteer in LifeWise classroom if approved by Director.
