Job summary
CBI Home Health is seeking a Personal Support Worker to support clients in Douro, Norwood and Havelock. You will provide in-home personal care, assist mobility, observe changes, and report to your supervisor while maintaining dignity and safety.
Flexible scheduling with part-time and casual hours, weekend shifts, and travel between client homes are involved. Requirements include PSW certificate or equivalent, background check, TB test and immunisation records, and a valid driver’s license with
Qualifications
- PSW certificate or valid Home Support credentials.
- Background check with Vulnerable Sector Screening.
- TB test and up-to-date immunisation records.
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and travel between client homes.
- Excellent English communication; French an asset.
Responsibilities
- Provide in-home personal care to clients.
- Assist clients with mobility and light exercises.
- Observe changes, document, and report to supervisor.
- May perform light housekeeping per care plans.
