Job summary

Home Hope and Healing Inc. seeks a Personal Support Specialist to assist an adult client in the Old Town area. Flexible scheduling with day shifts, options to work Per Diem or Full Time in a location of choice.

In-home duties include bathing, grooming, mobility, meal prep, and light housekeeping per the client’s care plan. The role includes regional support from Nurse Managers and a benefits package with health, dental, vision, 401(k), and ongoing education opportunities.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in PSS course within 6 months if no PSS certification.
• Active CNA certification considered a strong plus.
• Minimum age 18 with valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1-on-1, client-centered home care per care plan.
• Assist with activities of daily living, including hygiene, dressing and mobility.
• Support with meal prep, light housekeeping and communication needs.
• Coordinate with Nurse Managers for ongoing supervision and education.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

CNA certification

PSS certification preferred
