Job summary

StoryPoint Riverwoods is seeking a Dietary Aide to support resident meal service in a warm, community-focused setting. You will assist in food preparation, plate meals to dietary guidelines, and help maintain sanitary kitchen areas.

Qualifications

• Strong ability to work independently and manage meal service for residents.
• Some food service work experience required.
• Great communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Handle, transport and plate food for residents, guests and employees.
• Plate food according to the planned menu using standard recipes.
• Plate food items following portion guidelines and garnishing instructions.
• Assist other kitchen staff as needed; perform duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Ensure sufficient food is prepped and/or prepared.
• Communicate shortages or outages to supervisor.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all service areas and equipment.
• Stocks and cleans station for next shift.
