Job summary

StoryPoint Saline is seeking a friendly Dietary Aide for a part-time position (4:00 PM–7:30 PM) to support dining services for residents. You will help with food preparation, plate meals according to dietary guidelines, and keep kitchen areas clean and sanitary while delivering compassionate service in a senior living community.

You should be able to work independently, communicate clearly, and follow safety procedures. Previous food service experience is helpful.

Qualifications

• Strong ability to work independently and manage meal service for residents.
• Great communication skills are required.
• Some food service work experience required.

Responsibilities

• Handle, transport and plate food for residents, guests and employees.
• Plate food according to the planned menu using standard recipes.
• Maintain all daily logs, postings and documentations required for meal services.
• Stocks and cleans station for next shift.
• Ensures freshness, cooking status and proper temperature of all food being served.
• Wash, sanitize and properly store dishes and utensils from meal services.
