Job summary

Americare Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide hands-on care in a skilled nursing community. You will support residents' daily needs, assist with ADLs, and help maintain a safe, clean environment under supervision.

Qualities include empathy, strong communication, and teamwork. Eligible applicants must have a CNA certification, a high school diploma or equivalent, and be at least 16 years old.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Valid CNA certification in the state of employment.
• Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Assist with transfers, lifting, and mobility.
• Observe, document, and report changes in resident condition and care provided.
• Support restorative nursing and therapy activities as directed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, homelike environment for residents.
• Report accidents, incidents, or concerns involving residents, staff, or visitors.
• Work collaboratively with nursing staff and interdisciplinary team members.
• Follow safety procedures including lifting techniques and PPE.
