Good Samaritan Society in Manson, IA is seeking a part-time culinary associate to prepare, assemble baked goods, cook, season and portion food for residents, staff and visitors, following menu guidelines and dietary requirements.

You will uphold HACCP standards, maintain labeling and storage, and work with a team to deliver safe, high-quality meals. Prior kitchen experience and ability to read recipes are preferred; on-the-job training is provided.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and follow oral and written directions.
• Basic math skills required for measuring and portioning ingredients.
• Strong communication with kitchen and service staff is essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, assembles baked goods, cooks, seasons and portions food for residents, staff and visitors.
• Follows HACCP guidelines to ensure safe food handling and sanitation.
• Maintains labeling and storage of food, equipment and supplies.
