Job summary

Oregon Child Development Coalition (OCDC) seeks an Infant/Toddler Instructional Assistant for the Madras site. You will support teaching staff in infant and toddler classrooms, help with routines, and maintain a safe, healthy, and nurturing environment.

No prior education or experience is required. Wages vary by credential, with higher Metro-location rates; opportunities include dual language instruction and coverage to maintain ratios.

Qualifications

• No prior education or experience is required.
• Meets Oregon Early Learning Division requirements within 4 months for infant/toddler Teacher Aide II.
• Infant-toddler CDA certificate or equivalent college certificate with ECD focus.

Responsibilities

• Support teaching staff in safe, healthy, nurturing classrooms.
• Supervise infants and toddlers in classrooms and on playgrounds.
• Assist with diapering, toileting, dressing, mealtimes, and transitions.
• Help implement daily activities such as free play, story time, and learning centers.
• Maintain cleanliness of classrooms, toys, furniture, and supplies; light cleaning and laundry.
• Provide classroom coverage to maintain child-to-teacher ratios during breaks or absences.
