Job summary

Four Winds Community in Ohio is seeking a Dining Services Assistant to support meal preparation, service and clean‑up for residents and staff during daily meals and special events.

You will assist the cook, carry pans and trays, serve meals, check trays for accuracy and help with clean‑up, sanitation and dining room maintenance.

The role requires good English, ability to multi‑task, and reliable teamwork; prior food service experience is preferred and high school diploma is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Six months to one year related experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, understand and speak English.
• Able to operate kitchen equipment and sharp utensils.

Responsibilities

• Assist cook as needed.
• Prepare nourishments according to procedures.
• Washes dishes and silverware; maintains sanitation of dining areas.
• May set tables and serve meal trays; clears tables and assists with cleanup.
• Communicates with residents during meals to enhance homelike dining experience.
• Maintain clean, neat, and orderly work areas.
