Job summary

Sunflower Springs of Lake Wylie is seeking a dining services assistant to support meal preparation and serving for residents, families, and guests. The role promotes a dignified, caring atmosphere and requires adherence to safety and sanitation procedures throughout the shift.

You will assist with food prep, serve meals, clean kitchens and dining areas, and maintain a safe environment in accordance with policies. Training and team collaboration are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED; or less than one year related experience or training; or equivalent combination.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation according to the established menu.
• Serve and assist residents in the dining room at breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
• Clean kitchen, dining room, and food service equipment daily.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment for residents.
• Follow sanitation, safety, and cleaning schedules and procedures.
• Refrain from discussing resident care issues with families; refer inquiries to supervisor.
• Follow HIPAA regulations and dress code policy.
