Job summary

Suncoast East is seeking a Dining Services Assistant to support meal preparation and dining room service for residents in Florida. You will follow established menus, sanitation and safety procedures, and assist with daily cleaning and organization of kitchen and dining areas.

The role requires effective communication with residents and families, a positive attitude, and adherence to HIPAA and company policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation according to the established menu, following sanitation, safety, and cleaning procedures.
• Serve residents in the dining room at breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily.
• Maintain a clean, safe kitchen and dining area; clean kitchen equipment and storage areas.
• Respond promptly and courteously to residents’ and families’ requests for assistance.
• Comply with attendance policies and participate in trainings and mandatory meetings.
