Family Health West in Fruita, Colorado is seeking a friendly Dietary Aide to join our team. You’ll support daily kitchen operations, read recipes, prepare meals, and assist patients with menus in a fast-paced environment.

This full-time role offers the wage starting at $16.60 per hour, with scheduling vary, and a comprehensive benefits package including EAP, a 403(b) plan with 4% match, medical and vision options, and more.

Qualifications

• Must be reliable and punctual.
• Must be able to read and speak English.
• Must be able to communicate daily by email and verbally.
• Able to multitask in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Must be organized and able to read recipes.

Responsibilities

• Organize serving and calculating of food and beverage.
• Prepare meals ordered by staff, doctors and guests in cafeteria.
• Wash dishes and other foodservice equipment.
• Sweep and mop floors; clean tables, counters and machinery.
• Communicate with patients to help with menu selections per diet order.
• Foster teamwork and maintain positive relationships with peers and management.
• Adhere to HACCP/ServSafe guidelines.
