Job summary

FOOTHILL REHAB CENTER LLC seeks a Dietary Aide to support resident meals and nourishment services. You will follow sanitation procedures, operate the dishwashing area, and assist with tray lines and meal substitutions as needed.

Responsibilities include labeling opened products, taking out trash, mopping floors, and maintaining an organized work area while following written and oral directions and working cooperatively with staff.

Qualifications

• Requires kitchen experience or willingness to learn.
• Must be able to read and write.
• Able to follow oral and written directions.
• Knowledge of sanitation and personal hygiene standards.
• Must maintain an organized schedule.
• Able to be congenial and work in harmony with others.
• Stand and walk most of the day and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Willing to perform simple, repetitive tasks on a continuous basis.

Responsibilities

• Operate pot sink, dishwashing machine and follow sanitation procedures.
• Wash and scour large pots and pans.
• Complete AM/PM nourishment preparations.
• Assist tray line.
• Prepare substitutes for residents when needed.
• Take out trash, mop floors and clean working areas.
• Label and date opened products.
• Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures.
