Qualifications

• Proven experience as a dietary aide or in a similar food-service role.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines for kitchens and dining areas.
• Ability to prepare meals according to instructions and use kitchen equipment effectively.
• Friendly, customer-oriented demeanor with good communication skills.
• Physical stamina for fast-paced dining environments.
• High school diploma or equivalent; food service certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up dining areas and tables with cleanliness and order.
• Prepare meals under guidance of a dietary manager or cook.
• Deliver dishes and trays to rooms on time.
• Clear dining areas after meals and assist with cleanup.
• Maintain hygiene by disposing of leftovers and managing waste.
• Keep food stations clean and wash dishes and utensils.
• Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory.
