Mission Health: Colby Health and Rehab in Colby, KS is seeking a Dietary Aide to join our team in full-time or part-time capacity. You will assist in preparing and serving meals to residents, ensuring dietary guidelines and quality standards are met, while providing friendly, attentive service.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform basic arithmetic, understand measurements and follow written and oral instructions.
• No experience required; willingness to learn.
• Solid communication skills and attention to detail; able to multitask.
• Demonstrated ability to anticipate resident needs.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English sufficiently to perform duties and interact with residents, vendors, and team members.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals to residents; set up trays and accommodate special requests.
• Deliver meals and attend to residents with high level of service; ensure dietary guidelines are followed.
• Ensure proper food temperatures and quality; assist with special events as needed.
• Wash dishes and help maintain a clean dining and kitchen area; follow safety and sanitary protocols.
• Build positive relationships with residents, families, visitors, and coworkers; comply with laws and company policies.
