As a Dietary Aide, you will assist in preparing and serving meals, setting up trays and delivering meals to residents. You will ensure dietary guidelines are followed, maintain safety and sanitation, and interact with residents, families, and staff with a friendly, helpful demeanor.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform basic arithmetic, understand measurements and follow written and oral instructions.
• No experience required. A willingness to learn is needed.
• Solid communication skills, attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
• Demonstrated ability to anticipate resident needs.
• Read, write and speak English sufficiently to perform job duties and interact with residents, vendors and team members.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and serving meals to residents, starting with setting up trays and serving regular meals.
• Prepare snack items and food requests for special events and deliver meals with high service levels.
• Distribute food according to dietary guidelines and approved menus; ensure quality and temperature.
• Deliver and retrieve trays, wash dishes, and maintain sanitation and safety standards.
• Maintain clean tables, chairs, and food service equipment; build rapport with residents and families.
