Job summary

The Nature Conservancy in the United States is seeking a Caribbean Development Lead to direct the division’s fundraising and development strategy. You will build and manage relationships with major donors, foundations, and corporations to advance conservation goals, while guiding a cross-functional team across the network.

You will recruit, mentor, and retain frontline staff, travel frequently, and collaborate with senior management to achieve bold program objectives and measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Direct development functions to secure resources from individuals, foundations, and corporations.
• Recruit, develop, and retain frontline development staff and collaborate across a dispersed team.
• Lead strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional coordination.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute strategies to meet program fundraising priorities.
• Manage a 40–75 prospect donor portfolio with capacity over $750,000.
• Travel domestically and internationally; engage trustees and senior management.
