The Westin at Frenchman’s Reef in St. Thomas is seeking an Event Planning Manager to act as the liaison between the customer and hotel sales teams, providing direction and supervision during meetings and banquets.

You’ll be available on-site during events to solve problems and propose alternatives to arrangements, coordinating group room blocks, F&B, public space, and billing processes. This role emphasizes upselling to maximize profit and securing re-bookings, while demonstrating strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and/or 2+ years of hotel sales experience.
• 1 year food and beverage experience.
• Strong negotiation and contract interpretation.
• Developed business communication skills, both written and verbal.
• MS Office proficiency.
• Confident, professional appearance.
• Proactive, assertive, fast-paced, driven to succeed.
• Execute and support hotel customer service standards and brand standards.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with outcomes.
• Experience with major Hospitality Sales CRM systems.
