Job summary

Hireology is seeking caring, reliable individuals to provide in-home support for clients needing assistance to stay safely and comfortably in their own homes. This Medicaid Waiver Program pays $10.00 an hour with no mileage.

Ideal candidates are passionate about helping others, have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license, and can lift up to 50 lbs. Prior caregiving experience is welcome but not required.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Prior caregiving is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance (bathing, grooming, mobility) per care plan.
• Assist with meals and medication reminders.
• Perform light housekeeping for safety and cleanliness.
• Offer companionship and emotional support.
• Transport to medical appointments and errands as needed.
• Document care provided and communicate with healthcare team.
• Follow individualized care plans to meet client needs.

Job responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

• Providing personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, and mobility support depending on Patient care plan
• Help prepare nutritious meals and assist with medication reminders
• Perform light housekeeping to maintain a safe, clean environment
• Offer meaningful companionship and emotional support
• Assist with transportation to medical appointments and errands
• Document care provided and communicate with healthcare team
• Follow individualized care plans to meet each client's unique needs

Ideal Candidates Will Have:

• A genuine desire to help others
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with mobility
• Patience, empathy, and professional demeanor
• Previous caregiving experience preferred but not required
