Job summary

ATC Healthcare Services is seeking compassionate in-home caregivers to support clients in Monroe County and surrounding areas, helping them stay safe and maintain independence at home.

This Medicaid Waiver program pays $10.00 per hour with no mileage; welcoming applicants with employment gaps or those returning to work, including those without a high school diploma. Driver’s license and reliable transportation are important.

Qualifications

• Experience in caregiving preferred but not required.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with mobility.

Responsibilities

• Providing personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, and mobility support according to the care plan.
• Help prepare nutritious meals and assist with medication reminders.
• Perform light housekeeping to maintain a safe, clean environment.
• Offer companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with transportation to medical appointments and errands.
• Document care provided and communicate with the healthcare team.
• Follow individualized care plans to meet each client’s unique needs.

Job responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

• Help prepare nutritious meals and assist with medication reminders
• Perform light housekeeping to maintain a safe, clean environment
• Offer meaningful companionship and emotional support
• Assist with transportation to medical appointments and errands
• Document care provided and communicate with healthcare team
• Follow individualized care plans to meet each client's unique needs

Ideal Candidates Will Have:

• A genuine desire to help others
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with mobility
• Patience, empathy, and professional demeanor
• Previous caregiving experience preferred but not required
