Job summary

HomeLife Personal Care in Florida is seeking experienced and compassionate CNAs/HHAs to assist clients in maintaining a high quality of life. We value cheerful, reliable caregivers who understand the importance of dignity and personal care in one-on-one settings.

Responsibilities include personal hygiene, mobility assistance, medication reminders, meal prep, light housekeeping, and accompanying clients to appointments. Availability for nights and weekends is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care.
• Ability to work in a one-on-one setting and learn new skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Willing to enforce health and safety standards.
• Available for nights and weekends.
• Hoyer lift experience may be required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

CNA/HHA Needed! 4-8 hours/day. HomeLife Personal Care is in search of experienced and compassionate caregivers who understand the importance of meeting the needs of clients while helping them maintain a high quality of life. Our caregivers have a reputation for being cheerful and receptive as they administer care to our clients, and we are seeking someone who would be a great fit with our team.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries or accidents by attending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing and eating
• Remind clients to take prescribed medication
• Help with mobility around the house or outside (doctor's appointments, walks etc.)
• Assist with personal care and hygiene
• Plan and prepare meals
• Complete client's shopping or accompany them to successfully do so
• Perform housekeeping dutiesReport any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
• Offer activities that are essential for daily living by assisting patients with their meals, including serving and other tasks, if necessary

Qualifications

• Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills
• Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation every single day
• Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner
• Available to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekends
• Prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment (minimum of 1 year)
• Willingness to enforce health and safety standards
