Job summary

Senior Helpers North OC is seeking compassionate weekend caregivers to support seniors in their homes in Huntington Beach, CA. You will provide personal care, companionship, meal prep, light housekeeping, and transportation assistance as needed.

Ideal candidates have at least 3 years of caregiving experience, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to participate in ongoing training. We offer paid training, mileage reimbursement, and a supportive team around you.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of caregiving experience, professional or caring for a loved one.
• Active HCA Registration (Home Care Aide) preferred.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Help seniors with personal care such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and mobility support.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with meal preparation, light housekeeping and errands.
• Offer medication reminders and follow care plans.
• Support clients with conditions like Alzheimer's, dementia, Parkinson's, stroke recovery or hospice care.
• Monitor and report changes in client health or needs.

Caregiver Responsibilities

As a weekend caregiver, you will:

• Help seniors with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility support).

Caregiver Requirements

• At least 3 year of caregiving experience (professional or caring for a loved one).
• Comfortable assisting with ADLs, mobility, and personal care.
• Active HCA Registration (Home Care Aide) preferred.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance.
• Compassion, patience, and dependability are a must!
