Job summary

Comfort Keepers Huntington Beach seeks caring caregivers to support seniors at home across Huntington Beach and nearby areas. We offer full-time and part-time shifts with flexible scheduling and a starting wage of $18 per hour.

Responsibilities include meal prep, light housekeeping, transportation, showers and transfers, and documenting care with mobile tools. Valid driver’s license and HCA registration are preferred; 1 year caregiving experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year caregiving experience preferred.
• HCA Registered (required or preferred) per listing.

Responsibilities

• Establish open communication and build friendly relationships with seniors and families.
• Assist with daily tasks: meals, light housekeeping, organization, and local errands/appointments.
• Support showers, bathing, dressing, and toileting.
• Assist with transfers.
• Encourage activity and maintain a positive attitude.
• Document care using cell phone technology.
• Create a trusting, comforting home environment.

Standard shift: Caregivers needed for the following day/times.

Weekdays/Weekends: Mornings, afternoons, evenings

Desired Caregiver applicants will meet the following requirements:

• HCA Registered
• Valid Driver's License, Automobile Insurance, and reliable vehicle
• Minimum high school diploma or GED required
• Submit to Criminal Background Investigation, Motor Vehicle Driving Record
• Submit to Pre-Employment Drug Screening
• Caregiving Experience
• Willingness To Learn

Caregiver Job Responsibilities:
