Job summary

Senior Helpers Costa Mesa is seeking experienced caregivers and Home Care Aides to join a compassionate team delivering in-home senior care across Orange County. You will provide personal care, mobility support, companionship, and safety in clients' homes with flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Active HCA registration.
• Current TB test.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
• Previous caregiving experience preferred.
• Experience with transfers and mobility assistance.
• Compassion, patience, and professionalism.
• Willingness to complete ongoing training, including Dementia, Alzheimer, and Parkinson's care.

Responsibilities

• Assisting clients with personal care such as bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and hygiene support.
• Providing mobility and transfer assistance using proper body mechanics and equipment.
• Experience using Hoyer lifts and gait belts preferred.
• Supporting bedridden clients and providing incontinence care.
• Preparing meals and assisting with feeding when needed.
• Engaging clients through conversation, companionship, walks, games, hobbies, and daily activities.
• Monitoring and documenting clients’ physical, emotional, and behavioral condition.
• Communicating updates with the care team and family members when appropriate.

• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
• Previous caregiving experience preferred
