Job summary

The Community News is seeking caregivers and CNAs to serve clients in Rockwall and surrounding areas within a 30 mile radius. This role requires compassionate care, adherence to care plans, and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, providing companionship, and documenting care. The position offers weekly pay, orientation and ongoing training, and a supportive team in a rewarding environment.

Qualifications

• Valid CNA certification or relevant caregiving experience
• Willing to work within 30 mile radius of your home
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a background check
• Must work a minimum of 1 shift a week
• Ability to adapt to changing schedules and client needs
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and assisting with mobility

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with all Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
• Administer medication reminders and basic health monitoring as directed
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided
• Follow care plans and communicate effectively with clients and family members
• Ensure a safe and clean environment for clients at all times
