Overture Home Care LLC is seeking flexible caregivers and CNAs to provide one-on-one senior care in the South Dallas area, including Red Oak, Waxahachie, and Midlothian. Care is provided in clients' homes or facilities, with paid weekly pay and weekend shift premiums.

Overture Home Care is currently currently seeking flexible caregivers and CNAs to provide services for our new and potential clients in the South Dallas area near Red Oak, Waxahachie, Midlothian, and more! We provide one-on-one care in homes and facilities to seniors in need. We offer our caregivers many benefits, perks and rewards for working for us!

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provides hands-on care, which may include assisting with bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, personal hygiene, light housekeeping, meal preparation, laundry, linen changes, transportation, errands, or other reasonable duties as assigned
• Transfer clients using gait belts, Hoyer lifts, and proper body mechanics
• Some cases you will assist with medication administration, G-Tube Feedings, Trach Care, wound care, and more. These cases would be under the supervision of an RN
• Reads the client’s care plan and assessments and provides consistent quality care based upon the care plan for each client
• Adheres to all company policies, including dress code, time off, call-out, etc.
• Clocks in and out of every shift worked on the appropriate systems associated with the client or clients they are servicing
• Observes clients to recognize changes in their behavior or health, then notifies the appropriate personnel of Company Name if necessary

Work Environment

• The Caregiver will provide services in the homes of their assigned clients
• The Caregiver may also provide services to clients in a hospital, rehabilitation, or assisted living setting
• The Caregiver must be willing to work on an hourly basis and work at least 1 shift a week
• Frequent travel is required for this position, and you must be willing to drive up to 25 miles to your shifts.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required
• Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal forms
• A love for the senior community
• A compassionate and upbeat attitude
• Strong commitment to reliability and ethical behavior
• Ability to bend, climb, stoop, and stand an average of 5 hours per day
• Ability to lift 20-30 pounds
• Possesses a valid driver’s license or state ID
• Must be eligible to work in the United States
• Must have reliable transportation
• Car insurance preferred but not required
• Willing to maintain skills through continued education
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug testing per company standards
