Job summary

Pineview Cottage, Northern Michigan's premier assisted living community, is seeking compassionate caregivers for part-time and full-time roles on 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts. Ideal candidates bring a can-do attitude, a friendly demeanor, and a commitment to supporting residents with dignity.

Responsibilities include personal hygiene assistance, medication support, mobility help, meal planning, light housekeeping, and safety reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care (minimum 1 year).
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform caregiving tasks daily.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to work nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene assistance and daily living activities.
• Administer prescribed medications and assist with ambulation.
• Plan meals and assist with mobility to appointments and walks.
• Perform housekeeping and shopping tasks as needed.
• Report incidents and respond to emergencies promptly.
• Offer engagement activities to support daily living.

Pineview Cottage, Northern Michigan's premier assisted living community, is looking for part-time andfull-time compassionate caregivers to join our growing team on 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift! The right candidates have a can-do attitude, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to provide many levels of support to our clients.

Benefits

• $24 an hour starting pay

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries or accidents by attending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing and eating
• Help clients take prescribed medication and assist clients with ambulation
• Help with mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.)
• Plan and prepare meals
• Assist with physical therapy exercises
• Complete client’s shopping or accompany them to successfully do so
• Perform housekeeping duties
• Report any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
• Offer activities that areessential for daily living by assisting patients with their meals, including serving and other tasks, if necessary

Qualifications

• Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with physical capability to perform job-related duties
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation every single day
• Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner
• Available to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekends
• Prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment (minimum of 1 year)
• Willingness to enforce health and safety standards
• Supportive and compassionate
• High School Diploma or equivalent/Experience as a Caregiver, CNA or HHA, or completion of a CNA Program
• Take pride in providing high quality care
• Hoyer Lift Experience (specific to client)
