Job summary

Pineview Cottage in Northern Michigan is seeking a compassionate caregiver to join our growing team on 1st shift. You will support residents with daily living activities and provide respectful, person-centered care in a warm home-like setting.

Responsibilities include assisting with personal hygiene, mobility, meals, medication reminders, shopping, housekeeping, and encouraging independence. A friendly, can-do attitude is essential.

Qualifications

• Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries or accidents
• Help clients take prescribed medication and assist clients with ambulation
• Help with mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.)
• Plan and prepare meals
• Assist with physical therapy exercises
• Complete client’s shopping or accompany them to successfully do so
• Perform housekeeping duties
