Job summary

Senior Helpers in Seal Beach is seeking caregivers, home health aides, personal care assistants, CNAs, and HCAs to help clients in Cypress, Long Beach, Garden Grove, Seal Beach, Bellflower, Lakewood, and surrounding areas.

You will provide companionship, daily living assistance, and non-medical care in clients' homes, with flexible day, evening, weekend, and overnight shifts available.

We offer $19-$22 per hour, paid training, professional development, and a welcoming work environment.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License and Car Insurance.
• Valid TB test (or willing to get one).
• Must be on the California State Registry (or willing to sign up) - HCA.
• Willingness to learn new skills to better the lives of our clients.
• Proficient communication skills.
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Provide caring companionship through conversation, help with hobbies, and meal preparation.
• Assist with diet monitoring, walking, personal hygiene care, and other activities of daily living.
• Assist with non-medical care needs, including normal aging challenges and hospital recovery.
• Provide transportation to appointments, grocery shopping, and running errands.
• Complete medication reminders
